Patrick is a British-Irish composer born in 1989. His music has been performed throughout the world, including France (Ensemble Intercontemporain, IRCAM, Opéra de Tours), South Korea (Seoul Arts Center, TIMF, ISCM World Music Days, Ensemble Blank), Turkey (Arditti Quartet), the Netherlands (Amsterdam Concertgebouw, NPO 4, Amatis Trio), Norway (Cikada), Germany (Unerhörte Musik, Darmstadt, Loré Lixenberg, Jack Adler-McKean), Austria (Airborne Extended, Mozarteum Salzburg), Russia (Russian Composers Union, Saint Petersburg), USA (Boston Conservatory, Stony Brook, Spectrum New York) and Argentina (Música UNTREF), as well as across the UK (Aldeburgh, Dartington, Psappha, Gildas Quartet).

His music has received awards from the Florilège Vocal de Tours, ISCM Chengdu, Sichuan Conservatory and the Discovering Young Composers of Europe Project, and is published by Edition Gravis. His music for film featured at the Hiroshima Animation and Ji.hlava Documentary Festivals, and was nominated for a Taipei Film Award.

Patrick studied at The University of Manchester with Philip Grange, and also with Sir Harrison Birtwistle (Dartington), Oliver Knussen, Colin Matthews, and Michael Gandolfi (Britten-Pears), Isabel Mundry (IRCAM), Dieter Ammann and Alberto Posadas (Lucerne), and Alexander Knaifel and Helena Tulve (Saint Petersburg).
